Dart sports emerged in England in the 15th century and became a necessary activity for people to engage in daily leisure activities in bars in the early 20th century. Dart sports gradually became the most popular bar game in British bars. In the 1930s, Dart sports became increasingly professional, with the emergence of professional associations, competitions, and a large number of professional experts.
In the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and other places, there are fixed national DART competitions every quarter or even every month, and there are countless weekend club competitions in various regions. Dart sports do not require specialized venues or facilities, and are highly entertaining. Everyone, male, female, old and young, can participate, and the duration can be long or short. It can be used for both competitions and leisure activities outside of work and study. Whether sitting in front of the computer or playing the dance blanket immediately after dinner is not conducive to digestion, it is best to play a few rounds of Dart first. Dart is also a great exercise for gathering old friends or colleagues at home.
In 1992, the Professional Dart Association (PDC) was established to replace the previous World Dart Committee. At present, the famous events of Dart sports include the World Dart Challenge, Dart Grand Prix, and Dart World Championships.
